I believe that the most important legal and ethical issue for LightRail is the privacy issues. LightRail customers are able to use the ORCA card pay their fare and save credits in it as the same time. Other than buying the card in the vending machines in the stations, Customers can also buy them online. Thus, there will be customer’s personal data and information saved in the internet. On the other hand, our group also talked about having a reward program for customers who ride LightRail. Thus, the card will also includes customer’s reward points and it’s actually value in it. Therefore, it is important for LightRail to protect their customer 's privacy because if we are not able to protect them well, customers will not trust us and that would also damage our representations.
