Client WOM Planing

  1. Name of your client and what product/services they provide.
Cupcake Royale is a well known neighborhood cupcake bakery who provides delicious cupcake in various flavors and coffee and beverage. Cupcake Royale partners with Washington farmers and producers and commits to use organic and sustainable ingredients.

  1. Select which areas of social media are the best match for your client and, for this assignment, a short reason why.
Facebook will be used for any event announcement and online activities including flavor voting and pictures posting. By using Facebook application “Questions,” Cupcake Royale can easily make customers decide what flavor they desire to have the most. By mobile devices, Cupcake Royale will paint QR codes on wall for customers to access online Cupcake Tetris contest.

  1. You must include a formal word of mouth marketing plan so include the 5T's but for this assignment you don't need to identify each element of the 5T's unless you wish to.
Talkers:
·         Events including wedding, community events, school events, parties, and etc.
·         Students including those from Seattle University, Seattle Central Community College and other surrounding schools.
·         Officers including those in downtown Seattle areas
Topics:
·         Various flavors and special flavors particular for events.
·         Morning: provide special breakfast meals.
·         Afternoon: afternoon tea and happy hours.
·         Night: special desserts with flavors changed every night.
Tool:
·         Yelp for them to review the customer’s experiences on Cupcake Royale.
·         Facebook pages for them to follow events, promotions, and groupons.
·         QR codes allows customers accessing the Cupcake Tetris Contest.
·         Twitter to announce flexible happy hours.
Taking Parts:
·         Regularly held flavor testing events.New flavors will be posted on Facebook Questions for vote. The one with highest scores will be placed as regular flavor. Relatively, some flavors may be ripped off if they do not own the favor of customers.
·         Being friendly on Yelp, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media including blogs and website. Express appreciation and “like” particularly on Facebook . If any problem occurs, Cupcake Royale should solve it as soon as possible and keeping following up.
Track:
·         RSS and URL: see how often people referral the website and links to other sites.
·         Facebook and Twitter: see the interaction and rate of “like” and the amount of comments particularly for Facebook.
·         Tracking the account of Cupcake Tetris to see how many participant and the growth of new customers.
·         Rate of return of coupons.

  1. Think about mobile and whether it could help your client. If so, what kind of mobile marketing are you looking at? QR code, phone app, iPad (tablet) app, and, for this assignment, a short reason why.
Paint QR code on walls. It not only looks cool but also getting customers’ attention. Link the QR code to online Cupcake Tetris Contest. Any mobile device with cameras will be allowed to access the website. If not, the game can also be found from the website.

  1. Does it make sense for your client to create an alliance with a partner for cause marketing? If so, for this assignment, a short reason why.
Yes. Cupcake Royale is a bakery that really has strong commitment to itself and its communities. The best way to contribute the communities is to associate with local organizations to utilize the maximum impact. Cupcake Royale can associate with Qwest, Safeco Field, local farms and etc.  

  1. You should include ethical standards appropriate to your client.
·         Privacy: all the customers’ information including address, phone numbers, e-mails, and etc. is absolutely confidential.
·         Integrity: follow and obey the principles of company. Report any fraud and disclosure any relationship to customers and employees.
·         Honesty: never post and announce misleading and deceptive promotions and advertisements. Not to trick customers, and all the statements and features should be facts.
·         Respect: respect customers and their opinions both online and to person. On blogs or other social media, particular biases on particular groups and people are not allowed.
·         Communication: all the communication should be disclosure. Every public conversation should be remained and disclosure too.
·         Identity: all the employee should disclosure their identities as acting behalf of company.
