In the Adobe Digital Trend Survey 2011, I learned that many companies realized to invest more advertising in social media, rich media and the mobile apps. According to the article, “ most notably branded presence in social communities and blogs/micro blogs-again find their way near the top of both deployed and planned executions.” This implies that most of the marketers and companies accepted and listening consumers opinions and suggestion via social networking in order to improve their products, customer services, and even promotion strategies. Nevertheless, in the study also find out that numbers of business are building integrated Facebook store, encouraging fans to spread their offers virally and exploring ways to tap user’s social graphs to deliver relevant and personalized content and offers. For example, ShoesDazzle is a monthly, online style society that works with a team of Hollywood stylists to find the hottest shoes, handbag and jewelry for their members every month based on member’s unique fashion personality. ShoesDazzle use Facebook’s organic discussion broad, picture sharing and YouTube video and connect to their website in order to spread their word of mouth marketing.

Mobile Application

The last couple years, mobile applications have been impact to people’s life in many different ways; however, because of the immature market, mobile applications have not performance as well as other marketing trends. Although in 2011 survey, growing number of the Smartphone users and mobile 3G/ 4G network really change and impact many people’s life. Cell phones are not only phones anymore, they are moveable PC which could update all the information anywhere anytime; therefore, more and more business willing to invest more money on I phone and android applications. For example, Starbucks created their coffee reward card via mobile application. Customers could just pay their coffee through their Smartphone. Delta also uses the similar concept and creates mobile check-in. In my opinion, mobile application will completely change our life in a long run. In the future, everything will be digital and extremely convenience!!!

For My Personal Client- Experience Shoes

After reading this article, I have couple ideas that I think my client should able to use.

· Connect the store website and Facebook

· Reorganized the Facebbok fan page by adding shoes photos, video and coupons

· Create store QR code and post on web, facebook or even local news paper and magazine to increase traffic
