This blog gives me the first bloging experience that I've ever had in my life. Honestly, I'm a little bit excited. I've taken few marketing classes before; however, this is the first time that I feel truely motivated by the subject especially when the class actually takes place in the evening (dinner time!) at 6:00 p.m. I've been added to this class prettly late so that I missed the first session which makes me a little bit behind. It's however clear to me that I made a right decision.
The materials itself is interesting and not too difficult for a newbie like me to catch up. As I kep reading, I was getting excited by more and more insights and eager to goes on to the next chapters. Sernovitz did a grea job in explaining how word of mouth marketting works. Nevertheless, how it were presented by the instructor even made those material more intesting. After attained the the first class I have better understanding of what exactly Word of Mouth Marketing is.
Moreover, after went over the first half of the book, I realized that utilizing WOM Marketing is not as complicated as I thought. We, first, should be able to distinguish between marketing and WOM marketing so that we can perfectly apply the rules and techniques Andy suggests. Then, we should be able to identify who is the talkers, which is one of the five Ts, before going any further.
