What I have learned in last four chapters.

Do something silly - Before reading this part I would never thought I could hear this in business world. Yes I think it right, businesses nowadays are way too serious in what they do. This new concept make me think back about my first time visit a Jimmy John sandwich store. They have some kind of silly and fun quote in there store which I have talked a lot about with my friends later on. I think this work. If a company do something fun it would be easier for customers to talk about it. I just never ever think this could be a lesson in my marketing class. lol!!!
Case Study: Potbelly - Multiply the Talk - This is a great example for effective word of mouth in real business. I would love to receive one of those emails and text all of my friends on the contact list to let them know. I have been wondering for a long time why they issue more than one coupon for a customer since that kind of waste money for doing business in my point of view. Now I know what those companies looking for when giving several coupons to a customers.
The four defenses - These four methods for defending against negative words of mouth are great. They are so simple and powerful to keep up company's reputation. The third method "let your fans do it" is so simple that I have to wonder myself "really? That's all they do???". But yes, sometimes having a customer fight against a negative post on your blog could be even more effective than having the whole company's employees talk good stuff about the product. Why? Because customers' words are more objective than everything the company can say.
