Bartell Drug Store + North West Harvest

Client: Bartell Drug Store

Working with: North West Harvest

(Mission Statement: To provide nutritious food to hungry people statewide in a manner that respects their dignity, while fighting to eliminate hunger. Our vision is ample nutritious food is available to everyone in Washington State.)

Why choosing North West Harvest: As Bartell cares about the Northwest Neighborhood, it would make sense if they also help out North West Harvest as their mission is to help the poor in the NW neighborhood.

The Champaign- “Be the lucky one and spread your luck to help out others”: To provide the donation boxes for Northwest Harvest and set them out in the stores. The mission is to attract customers to drop off anything to help out the poor in the neighborhood. When Clients donated anything in the box, they can have a lucky draw next to it and have a chance to win some gift, e.g Bartell gift cards…

Social Media Aspect: Use of Facebook, Twitters to encourage people to participate. Also, people who tweet about this event or “Check-In” on facebook or talked about this event will also have a chance to win gifts in the “Online Lucky Draw”.

This even will help both businesses. Obviously, there will be donations gives to Northwest Harvest. At the same time, this would raise awareness of Bartell because people will tweet /check in at Bartell and talk about it. Also, this would also improve the image of Bartell as Bartell care about the NW neighborhood and willing to help them out.
