Social media video comments

FTC sure made a good decision on making the new rules on social media. Nowadays i am sure bunch of companies pay or hire somebody to make a positive comment about their company. The upside about this is only beneficial for the company but not the customers, whereas if customers only read positive comments and when they actually experience the actual event and they don't like it the bad word of mouth will be spread out. Which is, this is just an example by the way, "hey that company has a bad customer service. i thought i have read many good comments from their facebook site and on their facebook site i didn't see any bad comments. i think they pay/hire somebody to make a good comments."

I like when Andy mentioned 3 things to stay safe in social media. They are:

1. Required truthfulness and disclosure in social media. Basically what Andy was saying is don't lie to people. Companies can hire somebody to blog, make comments on social media but must be honest. And when they hire somebody to do the job make sure they train the blogger in proper way.

2. Monitor the conversations and correct the misstatements. It is the company's job to monitor on what their employees is doing. If one of their employees is making a false statement, for instance, they make a comment that is not related to the company, they need to monitor it and if necessary delete it.

3. Create social media training and training programs. Basically what Andy means is the company needs to teach their employees about number 1 and 2 rules.
